Passport appointment and DFA apostille assistance

Getting a new passport, renewing an old one, or having documents apostilled for use abroad? VisaReady PH helps you prepare the right requirements and navigate the official Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) processes.

About Passport & Apostille applications from the Philippines

Philippine passports are processed by the Department of Foreign Affairs. Applicants book an appointment through the official DFA passport appointment system and appear in person at a DFA consular office for data capture. Requirements differ for first-time applicants, renewals, minors and lost or damaged passports.

Since the Philippines joined the Apostille Convention in 2019, Philippine public documents for use in other member countries are authenticated by the DFA with an apostille. Some documents must first be certified by the issuing agency — for example, school records may need prior authentication. We help you identify and prepare each step.
